sit-down meals

The Albany has always looked after its community.

Built in the 1890s, the Albany supported the deprived dock workers of Deptford and their families. ‘Sit-Down Meals’ were a key way of achieving this. The hall was turned into a dining room for the many.

Today, many families struggle to put food on the table.

Could the Albany once again provide this service?
