A MEMOIR TO MONTGOMERY

As a child, our annual visit to Montgomery was the best part of my year. Such a small village holds such sentimental value in my mind. Breaking from the routine of daily life would never fail to excite me, when did routine become ritual?

Within the small town of Montgomery, Wales there lies a stone masonary castle. Inspired by the fragility of stoneware, I wanted to create a series of ceramic vessels. These vessels represent the importance and redundency of my family ritual of visiting Montgomery annually.
